Many of weekends. Week, after week. From morning to morning. And this day came..
At 5am I wake up to see by gap of tent what is going on. My nose fills first - fish too - but first of all.. Was really frozen :) Suddenly alarm start to sing, and light got on! Quickly.. Where are my shoes!! I got one, and then pick up rod! That was it! Slowly, long time on the bottom to see on end... No, no carp, but fantastic, monster.. Gold tench. That was amazing, and my wife record it on camcorder :)) Nice souvenir, which went back to his kingdom...

Tips: don't use meat boiles - are too many eels in Borwick Lake! Rather something sweet, and big with heavy lead in a center of the lake (at summer time there are thicket of weeds).
